Pangs (pg 2)

Sorry this one took me so long to do! Life (i.e. job searching) got in the way of the comic, but hopefully I'm going to work back up to 1 update per week.

About the Comic

Is it better to lie to
yourself and be happy,

Or to face the
harsh realities of life?

Dee (short for Archimedes) isn't your average kid with an overactive imagination. He's the last orphan in a derelict orphanage, maintained by an elderly woman who can barely take care of herself. He lives in a dying factory town at the edge of a junkyard where all the obsolete technologies of the world are brought to rot. He has no friends (it's hard to make friends when you can't shower or clean) and no one seems to want him around.

Yet, he's the happiest kid alive.

The Junkyard Kid Comic explores that strange thing called dreams and how, even in the worst of situations, can lift spirits and give us the drive needed to push onward
